I think you misread my post. I said I cant think of a better brake. The Beast brakes are the most effective I have used at any price and run about $100. I also use a lot of Harrell's brakes, they are made well and run about $30, they are less aggressive but just fine for lower recoiling rifles. Terminators are really nice, I would say they are in the ball park of the Beast for effectiveness but a lot more money. I will use them on heavy rifles when we dont need the down force for muzzle control the Beast gives.

Yes I miss read your post. I did look up "More's Beast" and tried to find a comparison test between the Beast and T-4. Went on the internet and Found that there are more people making Brakes then people shooting them.

He has a youtube channel with a test sled and comparisons. I have not watched the videos to know what brakes were compared I am just going by my experiance with them on rifles compared to others I have used. The only true comparison is a sled test, you can dig bipod feet in the dirt and load the gun hard enough to make any brake look good for a shooting video.

This is a link to the video page from muzzle brakes and mores website showing the comparisons on the sled. I've shot a lot of rifles with APA, terminator brakes and a few beast brakes. I like those 3 the best, and like Alex said the beast brakes are def the most cost effective without sacrificing any performance. Salmon river solutions brakes are on the list to try for Ti brakes.

It's just what you like and we have lots of choices , this Video proves they both work just fine !

If somebody has one to test send it my way ! I can give it a real world test with 300 gr bergers at 2884 ft.per.sec !

Well I finally got a Brake. It is a Terminator TF. Got if off of a member on LRH - Chase 723. Checked all the data and reviews on it. It is Like the TA & TE in size but has a 10/24 thread and recoil reduction is jut a bit under the T4. The T4 & TF are almost the same except for the TF has a self time nut.
Now I need the ACTION so I can order the McMillan stock. I was looking at the Borden Bigfoot Actions. Anyone have any experience with Borden? Also any other suggestions. Looking for a single action. IMPACT?
Also need a 40 or 50MOA rail and adjustable scope mounts. I got 50 MOA off the scope NF ARTC has 100MOA but you need to cut that in half., Looking for at least 157 MOA to get to 3K yrds.

The central air going out on us last month really put a dent in the builds taking out $11K of our funding. Looks like I will be selling at least one Browning O/U shotgun and a Cooper Model 22 Phoenix rifle real soon.

Hello all.
Well we bought a NF ATACR 7X35X56 with 100 MOA/27 Milradian of elevation travel a few months ago and looking to get a base that will give some extended elevation. I was looking at the "Valdada RAM 200 Riflescope Adjustable Mount". Think that this would solve elevations out past 3K for a 338LMAI. Need 52 mils/178 MOA for 3K yrds. or 2 mile = 73 mils/250 MOA
Anyone have one of these Ram 200 mounts and could give us an honest review pros & cons.

I've heard good things about the Eratac and Ivey adjustable scope mounts, there's also the Cold shot MRAB/MOAB…but I don't know anything about the last one. I personally prefer the form factor of the Eratac. I was going to try one for my ZCO but they only make the 36mm ones in ~0.8" height. The 34mm ones come in several heights and you can get one that adjusts in 5 mil increments up to 20 mils (They also have MOA if that's what you prefer). With a 40 MOA base that would give you about 55 mils of adjustment using you 7-35 ATACR plus whatever you can hold in your reticle. Alternatively you could get a Charlie or Micro Charlie Tarac.

Its been out to 3027 yards ! ( 1.72 miles )
Its really a great piece to use !
It's very simple to use and repeatable.

This set up with the 55 moa Nightforce base and the Vortex Razor give me about 325 min of Elevation .

Are you talking about Minutes of Angle when you say "Minutes of ELEVATION" Just a question. I have two Razor HD Gen II 4.5X27 scopes and the specks say 113.5 MOA Elevation in the scope so if you have a 55 MOA base and then 113.5 MOA/2 (total scope elevation divided by 1/2)= 56.75 Scope MOA with 55 MOA Base = total 111.75 MOA elevation. How are you getting 325 Minutes of Elevation???
