First of all, I hope this is an appropriate spot for this thread. If not, please move or redirect :) I'm curious if anybody else likes having a binocular case that also holds your rangefinder? And if so, which one are you using? I have an Eberlestock that will allow my rangefinder to slip down into a pocket on the inside (between me and the binoculars), but it does interfere with the magnetic closure for the binocular compartment a bit. I just purchased the Bino XR from Badlands only to realize that I didn't read the details and that it takes up to a 10x42 binocular, so my 12x50's aren't even close. I have also tried the Alaska Guide Creations Classic, which has a front pocket, but I'm not a fan of the zipper closure. I'm looking for something with an integrated pocket without having to zip it. Any suggestions?

I use outdoor vision for my swaros with range finder pouch. Magnetic closures. Been really awesome.
Thanks! I hadn't heard of Outdoor Vision, but I'll take a look. I'm really trying to avoid the rangefinder pouch altogether. For some reason, it really bugs me having that thing flopping around when I'm putting on or taking off the pack. I want my rangefinder tucked into my main binocular pack, but am struggling to find many options with that intended design.

I battled this same issue for a few seasons before I bit the bullet and got rangefinding binos. I would never, ever, go back to carrying two units. FWIW I used AK guide creation and Kuiu pouches
Definitely an attractive option for streamlining the setup. I could see really liking them during rifle season. Not sure I would like it for archery, which I failed to mention is also a consideration.

Run the FHF gear bino case with the rangefinder pouch to the side. Everything is tethered in. Not gonna say it's the best, it works well.

I run the Kuiu harness with the rangefinder pouch on one side and extra cartridges pouch on the other. Its a neat system that doesn't restrict access to any of the pouches and you can add the hydration bladder to the new version for a scouting rig. I have been really happy with it, and have had no problems with comfort or while wearing a backpack. They have two sizes to match your larger binoculars, and the rangefinder pouch is just a bungie and hook so its quiet and easy to open one handed. I know there are other great products out there, but the Kuiu is an excellent choice.

Marsupial!

This is the best way to go IME/IMO. Tried a bunch and the enclosed Marsupial is the best. Range finder right and medium pouch to the left on mine.

I REALLY LIKE THE QUOTABLE QUOTES BELOW THE MESSAGE, KEEP IT UP.

The range finder pouch on the Marsupial does not interfere at all with removing your pack. At least it doesn't for me. I run the Outdoorsmans packs. Both the large pack and the midsize. Never once has it bothered or restricted me from removing.

I put my pack one/off with the bino harness on no problem. The rangefinder to the side like that doesn't bounce around at all. Always where you need it, no digging. That setup is very slick and no extra movement. I tried a HPG chest pack and didn't like it, need to sell it actually. I hate having things bouncing around. The front folding lid is critical IMO.
