I use Shockys gold pellets 3-50 gr very accurately to 200 yds Hornady sabots
320 gr in my 50 cal encore
Barnes tmz and white hots shoot great out my encore

80gr of T7 and XTPs accounted for trucks and trucks and trucks worth of deer for me. Was an moa or less load at all times.
Went on an antelope hunt and switched up to 200gr sst and BH209.
Was a more accurate load at 200yds.

Google no excuses muzzleloader bullets. Best I have used.

My TCs (including an Encore)all seem to like about 90 grs by volume of BH209. Look at Fury bullets for sabot and full bore bullets. Parkers shoot well too, but often don't exit. XTP mags do some damage and are more affordable.
The FTX bullets are very accurate and very inconsistent with terminal performance.

I've used three 50 grain pryodex pellets with a 250 grain TC shockwave bullet in my Encore for the last 20 year's. Never had a deer go more than 10 steps.

For my TC bone collector i have found the best bullet for me so far and been using them for a good while is https://www.prbullet.com/pts.htm. Dead Center bullets rock.
Check them out. I will not shoot anything else in this ML as long as they continue to make this bullet.
But i have to say, i did have 1 Sort of , not a failure with last years deer but didnt go as planned and had an extended tracking job. Most every deer taken with this combo is DRT or it will go a little ways about 2 or 3 yards. Last year my 1 doe unfortunately did travel about 12 yards and with that made it more difficult.
All these posted bullets work but this is one bullet i will use from here on out. Oh accuracy is crazy good.

After ALL the posts I keep reading & bullet test & capture video's that I've read & seen where that SST bullet does not perform & pencils through the deer, I'm always surprised when ppl love them & hunt with them still. I started deer hunting at 13, I just turned 59. In that time, I've lost 1 deer due to a bad hit on my part & no other animals. Last yr I got a deal on 8pks of Hornady .40 cal 200gr SST's in MMP sabots. I'm hunting within 200yds so I'm shooting my CVA Accura V2 .45. The MMP sabots did not do well at all. I replaced them with LBCR's & they shot awesome. Under moa out to 200yds. I shot 2 deer, 1 at 70yds & 1 at 30yds. Both broadside behind the shoulder shots. Both deer took off for the county lune & were never seen or heard from again. I had a very hard time dealing with my life long hunters conscience with that. 2 deer gone due to NON performing bullets. I'll only use them for target shooting or bobcats or coyotes now. I bought Dead Center 220 gr .40 cal bullets & put them in the LBCR's & I shot 3 more deer - all - BANG/FLOP'S like I like -em. I was using 120gr W BH 209 too, so I dang sure had the MV for them *** bullets to do some damage.

I love my Omega's too. My first 2 were Grey Lam/SS & my 3rd in a new Boyds TH stock & gettin a custom .40 Brux smokeless conversion done to it right now. It will be no shocker at all if there is a #4 & #5 Omega's in diff cal's too.

Thats a good gun. Get a Thor Bullet sizing kit & buy the one that fits the best. OR, Fed 270gr Bore Lock, they are really great bullets for that cal. & barrel twist rate. Fury BUllets makes a great .50 cal bullet with the poly gas check on the bottom of the bullet. Definitely something to look in to. If I still shot .50 inlines, one of those 3 I mentioned WOULD BE in my gun.

Another fan of Dead center bullets. I wont use anything else. Read my post just above. Best ML bullet i have ever used.
