ADG Dimpling at the shoulder after resizing 🤔

So, on my 300 PRC ADG brass after full length resizing once fired new brass I have 10% of the 100 dimpling at the shoulder. My first thought is what the heck went wrong on my part. After inspecting dies etc I can't find anything out of the ordinary and have never had it happen with any other brass.

I honestly can't figure out why it would do this. Maybe to hard ? If that's a possibility. Not having enough give when resizing on specific individual ones.

That was my first thought as well, but I have not changed anything regarding lube.

On the few occasions that I've seen this it has always been from too much imperial wax on the case.

Either way it's no big deal. Just load & shoot as usual and it will fireform back to your chamber dimensions.

Try cleaning your die with thinner or 99%IPA, or at least wipe out with a clean,, soft & dry rag. Be sure to run a tip cleaner or paperclip through the vent hole, *and* then use less lube.
Build-up happens.

I assume that ADG brass may be more thoroughly annealed at the shoulder than the other brass you were using. Making it less hard and more pliable at the shoulder.

I anneal anyways before resizing so in theory I guess you can throw that possibility I had out the window

How far are you bumping your shoulders?

Nothing the first resizing with Lapua or ADG
Usually don't start bumping until after second firing .002

I'll pay closer attention to the amount of lube on the ADG. Just have never seen it before with Lapua, Hornady or Winchester brass.
I have another 50 I have to run through tonight
