Seriously, l have decided on a 308Winchester too. l have a 22-250 Rem 700 Varmint with a shotout barrel. l'm going to rebarrel it in 308Win. The action has a Jewell trigger and a Ti firing pin. Varmint contour for the barrel to fit the M24 stock. Barrel w/brake @22''. 1in14'' twist to stabilize bullets from 110-140gr. Capable of knocking down those 55lb steel Rams @500meters in Rifle Silouettes or a South Carolina Whitetail
