I thought about buying the Area 419 kit but after I saw a friend use the Satern funnels I bought some and never looked back. They are caliber specific and I have never lost powder around the edges, are made of aluminum so I have never had any static, and have brass at the bottom so it makes them bottom heavy and they stay on the brass mouth. I now have one for 223, 6.5mm, .270 and 30 caliber. These are the calibers I shoot the most and if I ever buy another caliber I'll just buy its own funnel. Totally worth it in my book. Good compromise for price and functionality.

Bounce Dryer sheets rubbed onto the plastic may help with static.
You can try cake decorator nozzle tips from Michael's (or any other craft or good cooking store). I've used them for years with 223 Rem and 204 Ruger cases for building ladder tests. 99 cents each, metal, zero static (I'm a cheap SOB).
As long as you can see and have a steady hand, they work great.
All different sizes of tips. Some cases just do not fit myLyman funnel set very well. Edit, mine is plastic, thought it was lyman....

My ancient Pacific funnel with rare exceptions works fine, but since I have only 5 bore sizes to work with overall and at $13 each it will be Satern funnels that slowly replace it.

I was pointing out that there are less costly options of comparable quality and usefulness.
419 does a commendable job of marketing, and Satern does not. Marketing costs money that the consumer ultimately pays for.

I have Satern, Precision Hardcore Gear, Area 419, RCBS and Lee universals. I use the Saterns with ball powder, seems like they spill less. The PHG ones I like with extruded powders unless I'm packing a case tight then the stacked Area 419 drop tubes.

The RCBS 17-20 funnel works fine with 22 Hornet and .223, it's what I use.
