I want to hear some honest ideas for a relatively fast but efficient 6.5 you would build with these components already on hand. (explain your choice)

Terminus Kratos Lite , .540" LA receiver? (3.8" ejection port)
Bartlein Carbon 24" 7.5 twist #13 Rem Sendero contour
Gunwerks ClymR stock
NX8 4-32 MOA or March CT 2.5-25x52 MTR-3

Bullet considerations: 156 EOL / 131 HH / 125 BD-2's... (something to push the 156's past 3,150 fps is the goal if reasonably possible??)

6.5 Sherman Max
6.5 WSM
6.5/6.8 Western
6.5 RPM
6.5/257 or 300 Wby
6.5/300 PRC
6.5/375 CT - ok, ok, just kidding. 🤠
???? just getting you started. I know some on my list like longer tubes than 24"...

NOTE:
1) Already got a 6.5x284, 6.5 PRC and 6.5 Creed, so keep them out of the discussion. Want something a little hotter, but still runs decent in a 24" tube.
2) What I do with the rifle is on me. Prefer to keep this about cartridge ideas and not it's intended use - as in whether it's for field mice or rhinos. Ok?
3) Dedicated long-range big-game rifle, not a competition build, so don't factor barrel-life too heavily on this one.

Ok, game on. 👍

I'd consider a Sherman 6.5 Max
or 6.5 / 7 MEGA both relatively fast & efficient.
Dual load the
156 Berger's & A Fast Hammer of your choice (123 Absolute?)

A 6.5 max will only run 50fps +- faster than a saum at equal pressure. A 6.5 wsm or mega on adg would be my choice for a short case. On a full length cartridge, 7mm adg necked down to 264 win mag would perform very well and have good quality brass. 7mm blaser necked down to 6.5mm will essentially be a modern dimensioned 264wm at 83gr capacity. Then you could do 6.5-300win at 88gr capacity, next step up is 6.5x300prc. I shoot a 7x300prc on a kratos lite ti. It's pretty snappy with a 23" carbon barrel but it runs 190s at 3k fps.

I have one of those actions and have 3 different barrels I am going to use on it.
6.5WSM a 7mm that I am going to chamber 7mm/300WBY and a 300 Ultra mag barrel. I bought a Stockys carbon fiber stock to put it in. Just got done fluting the barrels.

A 6.5/7mm Blaser kinda gets my attention. Is brass a problem here?

Is a 6.5 Mega in the works from Sherman?

It's norma, and decent quality. @ohiofarmer has several thousand pieces, he lists it for sale often here and other forums. I built a 257 blackbird aka blaser. I haven't got to shoot it much, but 69gr Retumbo is running 3400fps w/ 131gr bullets from a 28" barrel. I know guys get great performance from straight 257wby necked up to 264 cal. I'm just not a fan of belts/dbl radiused shoulders. The Sherman mega line may be the same capacity as the blaser and I would definitely go that route to run ADG brass. Adg brass probably hides 7-10k psi over norma brass before showing ejector marks and getting excess web expansion.

I'm in the process of building a Sherman 6.5mm Max. Waiting on the action currently. Straight jacket spun me up the barrel. Got a manners waiting doe the action, BO bottom metal and a NX8 waiting on it. Are you listening Joel???! I need the action only.
I've been waiting on a pair of Apollo lites since mid March. Been a lot of frustration on my end with several promised ship dates that have come and passed.
