AMP - Will I regret buying this?

A pic of one of my buddies keeping me company. I've spent so much time in the woods by myself I cherish the company of my pups & wife. Having my shop in the house may help more than the AMP!

You're on a slippery slope. Time to get the A&D FX-120i with the autothrower and trickler. I own both and I couldn't be happier. I use to hate throwing charges and trickling and now its probably my favorite part
LOL, Dont I see that slippery slope! It sure is fun though. I want that A&D. I tried finding a used one cheaper from someone drooling over the v4 coming out….but no luck

i think the main thing I'm doing to improve my shooting is to quit shooting so many different rifles. I was talking to Wiley at Whidden Gunworks and both of us did our best shooting when we only had one rifle. I've picked the 6.5 PRC as my do it all rifle. I'll keep heavier & lighter to use as needed.

Thank you much!

I purchased a V3 Autotrickler a couple mo months ago. I love it. It makes the process more enjoyable and I love the end results. My only excuse now is me.

That's about as low as anyone can get their SDs. Very Impressive. Thanks for sharing. Can you say where you bought it? Did the funnels come with it? What rifle are you shooting?
Thanks. I purchased mine from CE Products INC. I put $50 on it. It takes 9-10 weeks to get made and you pay the remaining balance at that time. Mine was right at $1k. Well worth the wait and cost. I purchased the Satern funnels separately fom I believe Brownells. They are caliber specific and are awesome.

I was on the fence for a long time on this one until I started getting into expensive ELR brass. With prices rising exponentially and availability continuing to be instable, I want to squeeze as many reloads as safely possible per case. I have done the templaq and torch method in the past and don't disparage it but for personal consistency and not burning down my bench, the AMP or any induction is the way to go in my opinion.

Thanks! I thought the entire package was ~ 1300-1500. That makes it a no-brainer. I had also been considering the new MatchMaster. It's not worth looking at for such a small price difference. Thank you for sharing. That's kind of you. There's a lot of good folks on this forum.
I think the MatchMaster should be +/- 600. At that price they would sell a lot & help a lot of reloaders.

Annealing with the AMP and using an FX120i with the autothrower and trickler really does help. I was able to shoot this with Winchester, blue bag brass in 300 WM out of a savage 110. My groups have gotten better and my ES and SD have improved greatly. I anneal all of my brass after every firing now.

It's just smart wait till your buddy loads up a ladder and tips over the case mixed together all the rounds if they're not labeled he might as well go home and start over
Exactly! Once you've come close to mixing any ladder loads up, you realize you'd better write the charge on each one. It also helps in tracking issues in a number of different ways. The ultimate would of course be to serialize each piece and track their performance but that's probably a little more OCD than most of us want to be.
