I think this sums it up! Basically a boat picnic! Apple juice, applesauce, PBJ, chips, water. A 21/2 and 5 year granddaughter! Best day on water in longtime! Frozen rods are top of the line!

One of my best memories when my kids were little was taking my 5 year old daughter with me on a bass tournament prefishing trip. She set up her dolls and tea party stuff in the back of my Ranger boat. I fished the first area and was getting ready to blast across the lake. I popped up the trolling motor and idled out. I had to shut the big motor off so I could hear what she was asking. I ended up spending the next 2 hours playing tea party with my 5 year old. I don't remember how I did in the tournament but I do remember the time with my daughter. Great times!

Love the "Frozen Rods". They ought to have a pro tournament with new in box rods like that just to see how the pros do. Kinky line and all. I bet I have 3 laying around, Batman, Spiderman and Bob the Builder(?).
When my grandkids come over I just stop whatever it is I'm doing. I'll never get that time back with kids.

Took my 8 year-old daughter fishing this morning at neighbors farm pond. Had a pretty decent morning. Caught more little bluegill than we could count….which was great because it held her attention for about 2 hours!! The bass (2 pounds or so) absolutely HAMMERED a very small bluegill as she was reeling it in and Daddy had to take over and let out some line before setting the hook. Good times!! 👍👍👍
