Just saw that a week or so ago. Cost to me adds up to more than just the product. Example...I purchase components to build hunting rifles at around 3500.00. Rifle season lasts 1/4-1/3 of bow seasons. So in Michigan for example 14-15 days to rifle hunt deer. Archery, 76. Using that example, the 3500.00 is well worth the money. Personally the answer for ME is HELL NO but for someone else, it may be justified. I prefer a vertical bow but at some point when I can't shoot one, I may jump into that lightning bolt for 3500.00

The way vertical bows are getting faster with lower draw weights, I hope I can keep shooting vertical until I can't🤪. I just got new limbs for my HoytXL that dropped the bow down to 50-60. At 54 it is still 265 fps with Black Eagle Rampage 0.001 @31". Hoping to get it up few more pounds without hurting shoulder "life"! Also looking at Victory RIP XV Elite that might get me another 10 fps if I felt worth it. Have Stryker 380 xbow, shoots fine but just not the same for me. Killed deer with and kind of uneventful.

More like using a rifle

Yep, killed nice buck at 8 yds that just walked into my crosshair. Only movement was triggerfinger!
I enjoy using my crossbow in December. After sitting in a tree all October and half of November including a week before rifle opener in the UP freezing my tail off, I really look forward to sitting in my heated raised box blind with crossbow on the sill. No worries of movement or sound concerns. Just a comfy leather office chair waiting on a deer. It's more of a meat hunt for a doe. Rarely will I see a buck worthy of killing during that season where I hunt.

I personally wouldn't pay that ,because #1 the crossbow I've got shoots 375 fps just fine #2 I'll put that same 3500 $ into something else . And I promise there isn't an animal in the wild killed within bow range that can tell the difference between 300 fps and 500 fps . And yes I know a lot of game can duck arrows . I just think if it ducks it at 350 fps it'll end up being a possible cripple or still a miss at 500 fps
