So what the heck is a derecho storm? Winds up to 100mph? Worse year in long time on how many times we have been in basement.

Orange! Which is enhanced level. Timing is everything though, had a tree company remove an oak that fell week ago into yard. Maybe should have waited a day?

Was going to go salmon fishing on Lake Michigan tomorrow with buddy but decided to postpone....offered to put seatbelts in boat but prob not effective.

In lower Alabama we used to call them home wreckers, translated big*** storms that will tump your trailer over.

Edmund Fitzgerald nightmares! My dad trained somewhere in those lakes for the Navy (destroyer class). I'd feel a "bit" safer on that....

So now we are in level 4. DANG, no sleep tonight with weather radio probably going off constantly.
Hope all goes well. We live in a tornado alley. Come to think of it we have been pretty calm for a while. Probably just jinxed us. LOL
