I need a long action with mag bolt face for a project. I thought about taking a chance on one of these barreled actions just for the action. By the time I scrounge up/buy a firing pin, spring, bolt stop etc. it may be better if I rethink and get a SS Macbros shot action and build a WSM. With that said, if I could get an action barrel combination I can use. I can hold the barrel I have

I've got 2 MacBros actions and love them. A 6 Creed is one and the other is being built now into a 300WSM. Great value custom action.

I'd like to build a 300 PRC. If macbros made a long action Stainless I'd be all over it.

I may just bite the bullet and buy a win mag Bld action from PTG and pedal the barrel or hoard it, use down the road. May may order one from PTG this evening. What the heck, it's just money. Never know, might be able to trade a hand full of primers for bolt stop!!!

I purchased mine the first day or so and at that time they were selling the actions with bolts included. Stan told me when he got mine ready to ship that there was no bolt from Remington and as part of the deal PTG was including one of their bolts, which they did. I expected a plain Jane blued bolt from them.
