Just a general question. I have bought three different calibers of Lapua brass and in every case (pun not intended) when I buy a 100 cases they come in a plastic box that appears to be designed to hold loaded rounds with bottom and top spacers for the brass. However, my reloads do not stay in position in the box. The bottom spacer is only about 1/4" high.
So I use 'custom' boxes of 50 rounds to hold my reloads.
What am I missing? How do I use this 'shipping' box or is it just a throw-a-way?
FWIW: Lapua always ships 101 pieces of brass.😍

FWIW I use 50 or 100 round boxes from MTM. They stack up nicely and I keep fired brass in them and clean in small batches so I don't mix up round counts. I try to buy a lot of cases in the same lot, and then they get split up from there.

I've used them for storing items, but not loads. QT's MTM cases or other brands are cheap and safer. Use a label maker to label each.

Just pop the top cartridge holder off the lid with your pocket knife and fit it down in the box over the other holder/organizer.
I use them in .308Win., 6.5-284Norma and 6mmBR Norma. 1.jpg2.jpg
