Meindl Comfort Fit Hunters - Durability?

Summit is just about the same as far as fit as the Colorado, but with a less stiffer sole. Great as a daily hiker and would be a better choice for flatter and less technical terrain….in my opinion.
Typical hunting terrain for me.

I bought a pair of the Miendls last Aug. or early Sept. Wore them to work for a couuple weeks to break them in then hunted elk for 9 days here in Nv. I've worn them to work a couple dozen times since. If I took a damp rag and wiped the dust and dirt off them they would pass as
brand new out of the box boots.
They are quite possibly the most comfortable hunting boots I have ever owned. And they're about $100 cheaper than Crispies and $200 cheaper than Kenetreks.

Which pair do you have?

Whats crucial is having a quality boot that has serious ankle support. I "rolled" my ankle once while walking up side of canyon on some wet grass, and wasn't wearing my best boots that HAVE proper ankle support. Luckily for me it wasn't more serious. The support doesn't have to be as critical as comparing to a "ski" boot, but all I can say, is ankle support is really key in one of the safety features of a quality hunting boot, especially if theres some climbing involved. Again, just from past experience. Nothing worse, than twisting an ankle, then your done hunting.

Hope this isn't to far off track, but when them soles start to ware out here is a product called STORMSURE, its a flexible repair adhesive and it holds up very well. A lot better than I expected it to anyway. Very easy to use also.

LOWA GTX, love em after I finally got them broke in.
