With say a 5000ft change in altitude have you guys found your kestrel elite to be accurate or have you found you needed to tweak your Mv or bc. I have never shot at the new elevation and won't have a chance to verify data
With the kestrel, there's no reason to be tweaking anything. Also it behooves you to use custom drag models when ever possible, since that is a function of the elite. It WILL be more accurate than using a bc. Period. With say a 5000ft change in altitude have you guys found your kestrel elite to be accurate or have you found you needed to tweak your Mv or bc. Mine is a 5700 elite with applied ballistics. The link part is great as I can be connected to my phone for quick adjustments and data management. What model kestrel do you have?

Yes, knowing your rifle and data can help you interpolate when you have to take a shot and don't have everything "just perfect "Well isnt modern tech. just wonderfull?
To think that back in the dark ages we had to rely on things like where the last bullet landed.
And then use the scope to dial to it so we could hit the target on the second shot.
But this way seems so much better.
Do they come in a choice of color?
OK, OK, ive got every thing entered, where is it, where is it, **** didnt it wait around for me? lol
