Find a muffler manufacturer in Texas and you won't have to pay tax stamp. Starts 9/1/2021.

Only Texas residents. It was passed along with constitutional carry not long ago.

There are a half dozen other states that I know of that did it years ago. 2017 here in TN..

Don't get your hopes up guys, it's a good way to end up in prison for a long time. It's not like marijuana and other drugs that the feds don't care about, it's firearm related, the feds will still put you in prison, and the big supressor manufacturers won't sell to you without a stamp. Think I could go to to thunderbeast in Cheyenne and buy a can without a stamp? Hard no. The bill literally means nothing but thumbing a nose to the feds as far as we are concerned with cans, you can still go to prison, and any legit supressor company won't sell to people without stamps, and if they do, the feds will catch wind of it eventually, then come after every person that illegally purchased a can without a stamp.
So yes, Texas is copying several others in saying that the feds can't touch supressors, maybe some other stuff too, Wyoming's bill is all inclusive, stating any firearms, or firearms accessories built in Wyoming aren't subject to federal regulation, according to the bill I could have an automatic supressed SBR built in Wyoming and be fine, accept I wouldn't be fine. It is a good thing that states are making these statements, and one day it may lead somewhere, but for now, they should come with a disclaimer.

Can you point to any cases of people being arrested within these states for these violations, or are you just giving your opinion? If it's your opinion, are you an attorney? You seem to be very resolute in your explanation.... why?

Precedent right here, I'm sure there are others. This one is probably the most recent, and didn't bode well for these two in KS. Any law like TX just passed on suppressors is simply symbolic, and will not protect you from federal laws. If I was a TX resident I sure wouldn't be the first to tread into these waters.
