We used to have a place selling CH4D dies in Australia. Toys for Big Boys at Yunta South Australia, but I haven't heard of them in years.
Bertram Brass make custom brass and Simplex Australia are still in operation.

Not sure if these can help but pm me if you like.
I do wonder if the IS shortages will affect us in time as importer stock runs low.

Hi CBH, I will see if I can find "Toys for Big Boys "& yes, I think it's a great idea to get in touch with Bertram Brass, as regards to Simplex, I have spoken with them and I will need 3 pieces of fire formed brass to have the dies made, he also said that it would cost an "arm & a leg".
The other option is to make dies using the same reamer that I use to chamber the barrel with ( I like this the best) ensuring a perfect match.
As I am purchasing the reamer, I think that is the logical way to go,

From the info I've gathered, it would be worthwhile to look into a 28 nosler or go big with 7-300 Norma improved for real gains.
trying to find the load limits on my freshly chambered 28 nosler, 26" proof, 1:8, 180 eldms, VV n570 and hit 3237 on round number 20. Barrel hasn't sped up yet either.

I think that BRT shooters supply do blank dies that can be customised with the reamer to suit the chamber.
I have heard of it but I have no experience of going down that line
The most exotic chambering I have is a .280ai that is a SAAMI standard chambering, factory dies and brass and a Tikka rebarrelled with a few Changeover parts.

I like seven mm cartridges, watching this space to see where this goes.

I've crossed the Canadian border at least 25x over the last 20 years. No one has ever asked to see my ammo. As a matter of fact, they stopped looking at firearms many years ago. I normally cross with a 5' x 8' trailer and, oddly enough, no one asks to look inside.

In all those crossings only once did a US custom officer check the serial numbers on the rifles to "ensure that they weren't stolen" even though we produced our Canadian firearm permits that showed we crossed over with the rifles the week prior.

I hear ya, if you need bullets, go to Hammer Bullets, they have a lot in stock, I ordered some 6.5 yesterday, they shipped that afternoon and will arrive tomorrow. This will be the first time I will try the Hammer, if they shoot as good as everyone on here claim, then I plan to give them a try in my 28 Nosler. They have 177gr Hammer Hunter that requires a 8 twist barrel, not sure what you have.

Case volume is a thing to research. Then of course reamers and dies. That's why I went with something that I can just go buy. The 7 mm STW. I'm also a long barrel fan. It's free HP, less stress on everything and longer barrel life. My 29 inch really works. Case volume is 93.3 grains of water.

When I was younger I had rifles with velocity bragging rights. Like my 30 inch 30-378 and pour 120 grains of powder into the case ever shot. The barrels lasted about 400 - 500 rounds. I don't know of anny critter that cared if It was getting hit with that extra 200 fps over the next guy.

I actually down load my calibers now and found better accuracy and and I try for even numbers like 3200 fps. It makes it easier for ballistic charts under changing weather or elevation conditions.

So look up case volumes before you decide.

7mm Rem Mag is only 82 H20. Small IMO

7 rem ultra mag is 108.1 H20 barrel burner and comes with 9 1/4 twist

The STW is a 9 twist, but aftermarket barrels can be bought with a variety of twists

I have found that BRT Shooters Supplies has Wilson die Blanks for a great price so will use them,
A Big Boys Toystore in Yunta does not exist, l have a brother in Broken Hill and he goes tadelaide a lot and there's only four businesses in Yunta( the net says its there).
Thank you for your advice as you have also helped me find stuff for this build, the people that have helped are all a part of the rifle, I am just steering and funding it, so I have to make sure it's a great rifle,
The initial interest in this cartridge comes from reading an article about "Old Betsy", Warren Page's 7mmMSM, also I think sometimes we need to revisit old stuff utilising new technology.
Thank you for all the input from everyone, the 7-300 Norma Improved looks extremely interesting, but I think I will stick with the 7mm Mashburn Super Magnum for the reasons that I stated above also its an upgrade from the 7 Remington Magnum.

Btw,
Yunta is bigger than it appears. Apparently there is a fair size area off the Highway. Most of those Railway towns have reduced in size.
When I did contact Toys For Big Boys years ago they did say they were not "visitable" . I don't think they had a shopfront. I'm not sure if they were working from a property.
I hadn't thought of them in ages but they did sell the CH4D gear.
