Wife bought me a TC Encore

Mikebellmtc.com is you place to go.I have several barrels and they all shoot moa 3 shot groups. The one barrel I had trouble with was a 7mm remington mag.I could not get it to shoot less than 1.5-2 inch groups at 100 yards.I sold the barrel but that was over 10 years ago.good luck.

I have an older encore too. It consistently does 4" and most times 3" 3 shot groups at 250. I have an upgraded ignition system and trigger. Mine utilizes a breech plug that is set up to use 25acp pistol brass primed with small rifle primers. Couldn't be happier.

Love mine as well. Might need to dig her and a few barrels out sometime soon.
TC/xtps, and 80grs of T7 have accounted for more deer over the years than im able to count. One moa or less all day long. I will say I switched to BH209 and sst's for an antelope hunt because she grouped better at 200.
A good trigger is key.

Cajun is right on. If you are looking to expand your collection, spend a few extra bucks a buy the right barrel. My first couple barrels were AIs and I ended up using the T/C custom shop. All of their barrels , including pistols shoot sub 3/4 moa. My buddies went with factory barrels of which about half were sub moa capable. Since the custom shop closed, I've been using MGM and have been very satisfied.

Have 2 pistols. This is my 6 creed and honing in on a final load. Only thing I don't like about the tc is the awful trigger pull. My finger is developing a bicep

Replacing trigger springs to get the weight you want on an Encore is relatively easy and inexpensive. The directions are clear and easy to follow. My trigger went from weight lifting to 2.5 lbs and huge improvement in accuracy. Key is to also replace the hammer spring as well and replace the firing pin with heavier version. Recommend doing this on a white towel to catch springs from rolling off bench and disappear into thin air! Gee wonder who that happened to? I will post up the directions once I get back to house PC.

Check out Haus of Arms , [email protected] for all of your needs with TC oncore all manners of stocks barrels and all extras. Left and right hand laminated thumb hole for adult and short sizes. So my lovely wife bought me a TC Encore from a friend of ours at her work. It's got a .50 cal muzzleloader barrel and a rifle barrel. Not sure the caliber. She bought it Friday and is picking it up tomorrow. Decided to tell me tonight. So my question is this……I'm not sure of the caliber of the rifle barrel, but I know I will look for a 7mm Rem mag barrel as I have a lot of components…what kind of accuracy can I expect to see from an Encore rifle? I have read several threads and see some love em and some don't.
I have a 280 Ackley in the Encore that shoots MOA. It is light and easy to carry up and down the hills of PA.

I love my 50x209 encore, it's very easy to shoot well. I use 110gr by volume and 250gr barnes sabot. that's gotta be one of the easiest load work ups I've ever done. It's a well documented and reliable encore load.

The real fun comes when you start buying short barrels and a suppressor. When the barrel is only 16" you can easily use a full size rifle can and still be shorter than even a short bolt gun. Plus, with subs the only sound is the hammer falling and the bullet impact, It's really nice.
Is this 110gr of blackhorn?? I'm switching from Triple 7 to Blackhorn this year. Looking for a good starting point? Thanks

I have four frames and barrels in 204 Ruger, 6.8 spc pistol, 22 KHornet, 300 Winchester, 220 Swift, 12 ga turkey, 12 ga black powder turkey and 50 cal muzzleloader. Shot my best turkey with the bp barrel.
