Another vote for Grayboe. I used to hunt with two guys who had B&C stocks on their hunting rifles. Both required additional work besides bedding and this was for standard M700 BDLs.

I am rebuilding a 40 year old M700 currently and bought a Terrain and Greyboe's BDL metal for it. I upgraded to the adjustable cheekpiece as I have gotten very picky about eye position in the last couple of years. It's in its shipping box currently as the barreled action is about to go to the gunsmith for some work but I can pull it out tonight and take some pics of you want?

Also, I second Ryan at Greyboe being awesome. This is actually my second stock. The first arrived with an issue related to the adjustable cheekpiece that slipped past QC (it happens). Ryan got it shipped back and a new stock built (with some free upgrades) and shipped to me.

Very happy with the result.
Hat and T-shirt for me. Lol

I've owned several of both and in that price range I greatly prefer the Grayboe. In my opinion the fit of the inlet and barrel channel, quality of finish, the look and how it fits me the Grayboe is way better for my uses

Was all set to buy and found the woodland camp pattern I wanted wasn't in stock. Darnit! I'll just have to wait for the next sale I guess and hope they get that pattern back in stock before then.

I have both. I had to do some inletting to get the Alaskan to even take the action. The grayboe Outlander is amazing. The BC is gone and the rifle now has a Carbon MC3 stock. I love it.
