Title says it all. I have to shoot Non-Lead in Kali.
Does anyone have a copper bullet that will stabilize in a 1:14 twist barrel?
I'm down to my last 80 of 52 gr. HPBT lead and will have to re-load non-lead. I would like to duplicate my current load of 41gr 4350 with a copper.

Barnes lists a 50 gr but at 12 twist or faster. Don't know if the speed of your Swift is enough to overcome the slower twist.

What are you shooting? We talking deer/hogs or are we talking varmints? I went to the Nosler 35 grn BTLF in my 223 in Cali when they switched to LF. You'll be over 4K easy in a swift and they make squirrels explode. And they're cheaper, almost comparable to lead on price.

MV doesn't matter.
Likely under 50gr solids in 14tw, and you could have a hard time filling cases in 220sw with faster powder for this.

I'm shooting a Ruger #1. I'll pick up a box of 35 grain Hammer. Loading data I'll dig up but with powder not readily available,I would prefer 4350 as I have plenty of it.
Yotes mostly, GS and the such I use my PCP.

Looking at speers data they are running a couple powders in the H-4350 range with 40 grain bullets I bet you can make it work might not be top velocity but will still be darn fast

one thing to your advantage is you will be able to use the entire case capacity plus with that little bullet

You can shoot these in a 14 twist swift, the reduced bearing surface is what allows that. You have to send them somewhere around 4000fps which is not very hard to do with a 220 swift.

Speed doesn't overcome anything.
If the bullet actually needs 1 turn per 12" displacement of a standard atmosphere, and you're shooting near that atmosphere, you will need 1 turn every 12" -regardless of speed.
