“Notify Me When in Stock” Feature Online Retailers?

I have been unable to find anything I need. I would gladly wait 5 weeks if I could get what I need.

It has worked well for me, at Midway USA. When I happen to be online or close to my email I have been fortunate to pick up a few pounds here or there, before it sells out.

The problem with notifications is that they go out to thousands or tens of thousands, of people at the same time. After the first 10, 100 or, 1,000 respond they are sold out again.

Try buying some new disc brakes for your bicycle. I've been notified 3 times recently and by the time I went to the email site they were sold out. I guess if I lived in my email account, I would have some good brakes now along with primers and powder but, like many, I have a real-life outside of my email/laptop.

Well I have to look through my emails to see the jobs that come open for my company. Killing 2 birds with one stone. Post what you need here. Sometimes members will find what you need online or they may have enough of it to part with it. At this point, try anything.

I just got H 4350 and checked out with it. I could only get 2 pounds. Then went back in and got. 2 pounds of H 110 and checked out. I hated to do it that way, it doubled the shipping and hazmat fees but last time I put something in my cart and continued to shop one was gone before I checked out.
I'd call them and tell them to combine the orders because paying two shipping and fake hazmat fees is absurd. It's bad enough that shipping never went back down even after fuel costs dropped in half.

I tried that yesterday with Midway. They won't do it.
I let them know that every other online place has done it for me.

I have had much better luck with couple local shops where I have asked them to text me if they got powder or bullets that I was looking for. If you have been a regular customer, this may be a better way to get hands on. I can at least give them CC over phone and say I will be there shortly. One shop just tells me its behind the counter with your name on it. This is where buying locally as much as possible comes home to roost for you.

Save a couple bucks at big box store or support the local guy that returns loyalty to you?

Man I'd love to buy local. No guns shops remotely close to me sell any reloading supplies.
