Supply vs demand. 120,000,000 gun owners and if each one want just one box of let's say 20rd box of rifle ammo that's 2,400,000,000 rounds. Now divide that by how much all manufacturers can produce per day and it's a lot of days in and of itself BUT, let's get real and say not every gun owner is/has/or wants to by 1 box but, in counter balance factor in how many gunowners have bought ammo by the case/pallet in the past 12 months. The demand has just been outstripping production.

Yeah until idiots stop putting 12 or 13 bids on $100 pounds of powder will the scalpers stop. The key to stopping scalpers is stop buying from them, but the saying goes "A fool and his money will soon part ways"... Well there are fools on gunbroker buying powder. It's also easier to fool a fool than to convince a fool that he is being fooled. Everywhere needs to put a limit of 1 pound per person per day and spread the supply. Once scalpers find it harder to buy, they won't work at it as hard, and then everyone wins. You don't win by paying $100+ for a pound of $32 powder, but people look at it and say "I got some so I won".
Oh AND all the primers, powder and cases are going to the ammo producers IMO. If I was manufacturing primer I'd rather ship pallets of primer to several ammo manufacturers rather than shipping 1000's maybe 10,000 boxes to retail store and every Tom, Dick and Harry hardware store etc....oh the shipping and receivables nightmare perhaps. Knowing full well when the demand by ammo manufacturers subsides those retail stores etc will still purchase my primers given demand.

Is ReLoader 25 or ReLoader 26 good for the 270 Weatherby Mag, with 150 Grn Bullets and the 300 Weather mag with 180 Grn Bullets ????
rl 26 is good 25 will work to just more temp sens. Rl 23 works great too

It's bad enough the government is causing us grief for our love and support of the Second Amendment, and exercising our rights. But to me, worse are those within us who do more damage than even the government, by driving up prices few can afford. They should be ashamed, sadly, they are not.
