Been working on a load for the new rifle. Factory ammo left a lot to be desired in the 127 LRX loads (2980-3040's with three different lot numbers vs factory 3225 spec). Worked up a load for the 135 A-tip which worked well on a couple of coyotes and a wolf last month. Finally acquired some Rl-25 powder, rifle seems to like it; found a great load for the 127 running 67.5 grns with BR-2 primers seated to 3.40 which just fits in the mag well. It's clocking 3281'/s with 16es and 6.8sd holding just under 0.8moa (2.3" at 300yds) with zero high pressure signs. Anybody getting better results with Rl-26 or the slower powders? The Hodgdon manual shows the best performance is with 869.....great powder for semi-static temp conditions, all over the board with a temp delta greater than 20F; I have a bunch for other calibers and it would be nice to consolidate. I'd like to be able to use it on elk out to 500yds. It shoots the factory 140 Interlocks incredibly well though they are ballistic footballs at a littler under 3000'/s
