Is it just to early yet or are there NO 12ga turkey shells available FS anywhere?

Learned during and after Love-to whip-out-my-willy-billy-clinton was in office you can NEVER have to much ammo especially ammo you can not reload, so even though I have plenty of my favorite turkey loads on hand, been looking to stock up some more and have been looking for at least 10-12 weeks now both on line and OTC at my LGS's and FINALLY found some in stock on line at one store have never heard of and bought some. Bore a few hours ago I couldn't find any 12ga standard lead turkey shells FS anywhere. Plenty of $10 a round Tungsten turkey shells but no regular $23-$24 for a box of ten 12ga turkey shells. So is it just to early for them to be out or are they also going to be unavailable except in VERY limited sells out instantly quantities?

Imagine having to use non lead.. it has been maddening. I would give anything to find some tungsten, or even bismuth. I do plan on starting load my own ala ballisticproducts.com, but for now all hulls are out of stock. I did get a BUNCH of steel last year, but its so/so on lethality..

Sorry, I guess that was more of me venting. But to answer your question its not neither because of the season, its just the atmosphere right now.

LGS here in eastern NC had some LongBeard XR a few weeks ago even scored some H4831SC. Haven't been back through lately to see if its still in stock, but 20 rounds of turkey shot is a whole lot of hunting. Lord knows I'm not pulling the trigger on 2 ounces lead any more times than necessary.

I've had a lot of friends and family come to me because I've been able to get reloading components without much trouble. A few have been asking me to grab ammo, man it's thin out there and what is in stock is pretty well astronomical.

Better buy what you can find when you can find it. Just sayin, not going to get better for awhile at least 2022 and that is if the Demoncrats do not pass there gun control bill. If that passes, everything will be 4 times as expensive as now

Shelves are bare of all shotshell and rimfire and almost all centerfire ammo here. "Seasonal" run of turkey ammo should be our soon, hopefully

Just saw that apex already released its seasonal run for spring, already out of small-town blend so had to get ninja
