Hey guys,

little strange but since I got into precision I've read and asked the age old question "which action". Well 2-3 years ago I decided I'm going to build on as many of the top action manufacturers as I can to gather an opinion of my own. Well my latest build should be wrapping up in the next two weeks, and my next one is 90% planned out but still need 3-5 more builds to complete my quest I guess you could say. The actions I know, but the calibers I don't. Currently have defiance, terminus, stiller, zermatt, KS (the one returing in a few weeks) kelbly. Next will be lone peak. I'd like to add, impact for sure, surgeon, maybe an arc and a bat. If there is something else I'm forgetting it will join the list.

here's the line up so far;

20 tactical (the one being finished now)- main coyote set up
223 rem- trainer/back up coyote rifle
6mm creed- back up prs
25 creed- main purpose prs
260 rem- middle of the road hunting/target rifle
270 wsm (the one being started after the 20 tac returns) will be a lighter weight hunting rifle
300 Norma big game rifle

I'm not sure what else to add to the list. I'd like to get an idea together so if I stumble across good deals on parts (actions or barrels) I will pick up for future builds.

my thoughts are another varmint build. Something maybe to sling the heavies in a 22 cal. Then I've been really eyeing the 6bra so believe that will be one. But other then that I'm kind of hung up. I've been enjoying the 25 creed so much I'd like to add maybe a hunter weight 25 saum or 25 blackjack. Any suggestions for 3-5 more builds. Will be probably another 2-4 years to complete the list but incase I stumble across what I need id like to put things aside. Im hoping to have the 270'wsm wrapped up by fall and then parts being collected for the next caliber.

I like less popular cartridges personally. Some I would consider if I were in your position.

6X45
25X45 (I own one of these)
6bra or 6gt (building a GT)
25 Blackjack is on my shortlist
A big 7mm for heavies
7-08
338 Lapua (one of my favorites)

Just to name a few.

the 6bra is definitely keeping my eye. Was thinking about it for a while and can't seem to stop, so I'm sure I'll have to throw one together. Maybe that will take the impact.
The 25 blackjack or saum should be another

a 7 is what I'm missing. Not sure if I would be more keen on the magnum or maybe like a saw

Personally, I like only have a few chamberings and filling specific rules with each rifle. If you get bored, then rebarrel/rebuild the rifle. I like to have one rifle for the job. I know guys who have multiple rifles that essentially do the same thing. Personally that would just add challenges to my decision making haha. I don't see where you're missing anything. You have two PRS rifles, two Coyote rifles, and three hunting rifles. A small, medium, and large. I think you have a really good lineup.

It's more so to try the actions. Like I said, I've been wanting to add a few more to the lineup. Surgeon, impact and bat would be the main ones. Possibly an arc but they just don't peak my interest.

Check out Pierce Engineering actions 😉. If you want an ultralight hunting rifle the Pierce Ti is the go to.

7mm SS or a 6.5 saum

Now is a good time to research available brass online to determine what cartridge will be next. Component available is very important.

Look online for 6.5x284 Norma brass. Maybe that cartridge will strike some interest. First website I went to brass was available

Id definitely do some type of 7 build since you don't have one yet. I'd do a 7 saum 20-22" for a backpack hunting rifle? Light weight and compact. Great for when it's on your pack. Still effective for a long long ways and very easily managed recoil to spot impacts.
