Guys,
my problem is nothing special. I've bought older XCR Gen 1 rifle in 338 RUM. I have some Federal cases from factory ammo and new unused Remington cases. The Federal's bottom of the case measures around 0.533", no problem with it. It flies nice far out by repeating. The bottom of the Remmy cases measures around 0.527" and the extractor is not catching the case. It stays in the chamber.

I've compared the bolt with another one from my Sendero and found out that the XCR extractor is somehow worn, broken, maybe someone has touched it. I don't know. But the fact is that there is a problem, because I've put the Sendero bolt in the XCR action and the smaller bottomed Remington cases were extraxted and ejected with absolutely no problem.

I've checked the Brownells and to be honest I need help or tip. Which Remington factory extractor I have to order? This mine has one securing pin. Please also help me with other parts source than Brownells, they are sold out.

Thank you in advance!

You need to find someone with the magnum extractor, which isn't in stock anywhere right now. Numrich may still have a few standard extractors for .473" bolts that could possibly be made to fit, but I'm not 100% sure on this one. Talk to local 'smiths as they might have squirreled a few away assuming a disruption in parts...

that's what I bought for my 7rum back in '19 when there were extractor issues
