Sierra tipped gameking (gamechanger) feedback.

I'm a huge Sierra HPBT Gameking fan because of how well they shoot in every gun I use them in. I couldn't wait to try these new bullets When they were introduced! Well, I have gone Through three boxes of the 165's trying to get a load to shoot in my 7mags along with two boxes of the 150's. I have tried every powder, primers and seating depths to no avail..... same story with my 280 Ackley and same story with the 30 caliber 165's out of my 30-06 sako that shoots half minute with almost everything. I am pretty disappointed to say the least because I think they would be the perfect bullet for my needs.... I'm open for any suggestions to get them to shoot.

I haven't shot any but I know the jackets are extra thick. They appear to be thicker than any other jacket I have saw. Thicker jacketed bullets have been finicky for me in the past but I'm sure there are exceptions. I didn't know if these would be the exception or not. I do have a friend who I haven't saw in a long time load some 6.5 130 TGks in a 6.5 creedmoor for another friend who doesn't hand load. He said they shot well in his rifle. I've saw alot of mixed reports from other sites on these as far as accuracy goes. I tend to believe they are long for weight because of the thicker jacket.

Just wanted to see who has shot the TGK (game changer) and how was accuracy compared to other bullets.
I have tried them in several different rifles and calibers they have been the most difficult sierra bullet to get to shoot out of any I have used which is about all of them I did get the 130 to shoot great in a 6.5x47 but that rifle shoots everything great I believe I could shoot 6.5mm marbles well with it

I am onboard with everyone who has struggled with them in the accuracy department. I've tried them in 3-4 rifles that shoot other bullets "lights out"........I've found a couple of loads that were consistently accurate (under MOA) but nothing stellar as I had expectations of...

I've had better luck closer to the lands as well, my single shot can obviously be loaded without worrying about mag length and the box mag for the 300wm has been modified with a chainsaw file and they're loaded to 3.53.

Do they seem to like alot of jump to the lands?
When I increased the seating depth from .020 off to ,030 off the lands my groups almost halved in size down to 0,22 MOA at 100 m and still held to 0.44 MOA at 400 m. This was in a 6.5-284 Norma with Rel 26. I also use the same 130 gr TGK in a 6.5x 55 also .030 off the lands and it is shooting <0.5 MOA at 100 m with Rel 23. Finding an accurate load with 6.5 130 gr TGK in my rifles was rather easy.
