I bought this estate out a few years back and this amo box had 90 reloads
Casing length 1.82
OAL 2.6
Bullet .284
Head stamp
300 sav
I'm thinking it's possibly a 300 sav x .284
Any knowledgeable thoughts are welcome
Thanks for your help, the way prices are getting I'd like to save even if I have to take them apart

4D reamer rentals has a picture of the 7 IHMSA on their web site in the reamer section. Shows a 38 degree shoulder. Case was popular with pistol silhouette shooters, think around 160 grain bullets were popular.

This has a 100 gr bullet as I weighed it , which throws me as most data list 120-160
I believe it may have been shot in a handgun because I have tons of 357,45,38 which are available.

Sierra has a 100gr Varmint HP bullet and it looks like one of them. They are deadly accurate, my 7mm-08's love them.

Stay safe
Ok, great , the casing looks to be the 300 sav neck down to an 7mm IHMSA as rifle hunter stated and the powder is BL-C(2)
So I'm going to start dismantling
