There's a German company called Prvi Partizian and I'm thinking of going offshore to get brass because locally things are tight. Anybody ever try them?

I've used their 223 brass, and I found it a little soft. Primer pockets enlarged on second to third heavy LR loadings, and that load velocity in Federal cases would hold to 5-6 loads. A few years ago, I had a 1000 rd case of their 69 Match loads and several of those factory loads dropped primers on the initial firing. YMMV

Serbia, not Germany, not that it matters a ton :).

good brass, very good for the price.

I use in my 300 win mag.

not as tough as Winchester but starts with tighter pockets to begin with and less prone to neck splits.

definitely tougher/better than federal or Remington in my experience.

the real surprise is that the piece to piece weight consistency in the batch of 100 I bought was waaaaay tighter than win, fed, or rem.

don't hesitate to buy it

I have used the 30-30 and 308 brass while heavy its fairly consistent and when prepped its decent brass. I just ordered 200 ppu 300 win mags to try out as well. I've seen some bullet offerings from them but have yet to try any.

They are in Serbia. Where can you order their brass?
Ebay, Amazon and similar - all 2A friendly. Be sure to support them.
Actually I was thinking they were German made...

For anybody who has used these, how uniform are the primer flash holes?

Flash holes will need deburred atleast with the brass ive accumulated from factory ammo. They were pretty rough definitely punched leaving a nice burr. Still waiting on the reloading brass only place that had it was grafs and they are about 3 weeks behind.

PPU - Serbian company into all sorts of munitions - some real big military hi-tech stuff.

I have been using their brass for years. I started out with 7X57 necked down & FF to 6mm AI. I now use .223, .22-.250, .243W, 6mm Rem, & .270 (6.5-06). I check it out good and turn necks - no problems. I think the annealing is better than some. They make some funny diameter 6.5 bullets for various olde military rifles - .268!?

Prvi Partizan Ammunition

Thinking was .268's were for deep groove 6.5 Carcano rifles and improved barrel life?
