PPU Brass yea or nae

I used 7rm ppu brass in the past, had 5-6 reloads on them when I switched to a different gun/brass combo. I think I still have that brass as a backup somewhere on my shelves

I use it in my 7x57AI and never a problem. Fire formed well. I also have some PPU 308 brass on order to try out.

Got my brass in and I have to say it is the most consistent brass I've ever used. It was within .05 trim length, primer pockets appear to be the same depth. The only thing I noticed is the case capacity is a little less than with hornady rem, win brass. 70 Gn Retumbo in the other brass was nowhere near a compressed load. Seirra data used.

You will also find it is heavier than the others. The thicker brass is part of the reason it lasts so well. You will have to let us know how you like the performance once you get some loads worked up.

Read more about PPU. I have been using PPU brass for years and I like it.

Prvi Partizan Ammunition
I love it so far. went and did some shooting and I have about a 2in group at 200yds. shooting a Rem 700 pencil barrel, that's better than I've had with other brass. Its visually thicker and I can feel a difference in the weight. Comparing it to virgin hornady brass, I've never had hornady that close to same case length out of the bag, the primer pockets appear really consistent in depth and dia.

Tested PPU in 308 this week. No complaints at all. I did find the brass thicker than other brands as it doesn't hold nearly the same amount of water.
That was my same findings, it caused mine to be a compressed load (I'm still more than 1 grain below max by the Sierra book) but no pressure signs, better accuracy (probably because of more uniform brass) and when it came out of the bag it required less trimming than Hornady and Winchester brass. <2 in. 7 shot group at 200yds, from a factory Rem 700 with a pencil barrel.
