Kimber 84m action weight

Anyone know the weight of a Kimber 84m action? Trying to decide between a Kimber 84m or defiance anti to make the lightest gun possible. Shooting for a 338 federal at 4lbs.

Scoped? Did you try contacting Kimber and ask them directly?

4lbs....you might need to go with a Ti action

and a 12" barrel, and a stock with no fore end and no recoil pad lol 4lbs is pretty much unobtainium without big sacrifices.

I just went down this rabbit hole before hunting season... I ended up ordering a NULA in 308win

LOL! Yep, I thought so too. Kimber 84M in 7MM-08nis already 5.5 pounds with 22". My Kimber 84M Hunter in .30-06 (re-chambered in .30-06 Gibbs) with 24" is under 6 pounds (scoped/hunt ready at 7.91 lbs), and I am very pleased with it, considering most my LRH/S rifles are in the 10-12 lbs range. Not too shabby for $1237 overall cost. Currently propelling 190 Bergers at 2806 FPS with more room to spare. "I" am not willing to sacrifice anything else for my intended purpose. Those NULAs are very nice rifles.

I guess to be fair the Kimber Mtn Ascent in short is only 4lb 13oz. My buddy has one and it's a 3/4" gun.

It's not clear where you can cut 13 oz from it to me. It's pretty delicate. I don't know what the stock weighs.

yeah, I would have went with a kimber mtn. Ascent or Adirondack if they would just make them left handed

so my choices were like 2x more expensive, cooper 92 back country or NULA.

From what I've found the Adirondack and mountain stock are 25 oz
