Grayboe or Stocky’s

The terrain works great from prone, standing, etc.... when you mount your scope just pay attention to the mount hardware you use. If using a rail you will want to use extra-low rings. I've used numerous different rings on my 3 Terrain stocks. Part of setting up the rifle properly is making sure you select proper base and ring height for your shooting applications most used. Here's a picture of one of my builds in 6.5 PRC. Barrel .760 at muzzle. The bottom metal they make is also top notch. The guys at Grayboe are awesome and really build a fantastic stock and service is awesome. One of the McMillan boys started the company after they sold McMillan stocks. I've dealt with Ryan numerous times. Email him if you have any questions. [email protected] let him know Joe Stumpf from Tucson referred you to him. I've spoke and dealt with him numerous times over the last 2 years. He's a super great guy and will make sure you get exactly what you're after. I am finishing a 6 Creedmoor with a Terrain pictured below, and also am acquiring components to build a 300WSM using the new Grayboe Phoenix stock.

What color/pattern is that. Without a doubt the BEST looking stock ever..........................

The stock in the bottom picture is what the 6 creed is being built in. Grayboe calls it Rhodesian Camo.
The first 2 pictures are called Battle Torn. Basically lion stripe camo but earth tones used instead.
Thanks, didnt read next page. Couldn't get the answer fast enough. Have two GB stocks and love the customer service and the products even better. If there was a six star review i would give it.

Those stocks I found on their old custom shop web page. They've since changed the webpage and you'll find odds and ends from time to time on their weekly specials page. They will do just about anything. The Phoenix stock I just got I had them do in "Urban Gap Camo." You can see that under one of their other stocks on the website.

I had a Terrain with a criterion heavy sporter barrel. I got the terrain with they're normal sporter barrel channel, meant for Bartlien 3b and it was perfect. Thought I had a pic but I can't find it. All you need to do is wrap a piece of 220 sandpaper around the barrel and run it up to the nut just in case there's a tight spot. Shouldn't be though.

Trying to decide between the Grayboe terrain or the Stocky's VG2 for my 280AI build with 24" barrel. Any recommendations would be great and experiences with the two? Thanks
I set up my Seekins in a Grayboe Phoenix. Love it!
