Hi,

I have a Proof Research Glacier TI in a 28 Nosler and it's time to rebarrel for 2 reasons, 1 is it's getting up there in the round count and 2 because I want to shoot heavy mono's out of it. I'm going to Africa in April and would like to have it done before then. It currently has a 24" Proof Carbon barrel on it and I'd like to go with that again but not opposed to a 26".

I live in WA state on the Oregon border and don't know any good smiths in the area. Do you think my timeline would be cutting it close, can anyone recommend a competent gunsmith in the area that might take on this project?

Thanks in advance.

I have some smiths overcthatcway that will turn it into a 28 Sherman if that would work?

Thanks in advance.
