Custom built by Michael Scherz, Gila River Gunworks. Built on a controlled round feed "classic" Winchester Model 70 action, this 375 H&H has a Douglas barrel, a quarter rib with express sights, and scope mounts made specifically for Talley Quick Release rings. The buttstock is well figured, while the grain is straight through the wrist & for end. The cap is of Australian Leatherwood.

I've only used this rifle at the range, never hunted with it. It's accurate, functions reliably and the recoil is quite tolerable.

I've had a 1.5-5x Leupold on it, but the scope isn't included in this sale. I will include the Talley QD rings.

$2500. The rifle is at a local gunshop now, and is also advertised on Gunbroker.

That sir is a classic safari rifle very nice
Thank you. I was smitten as soon as I saw it. Bought it a few years ago, but I doubt I'll ever need such a rifle, which is a real shame. I do have experience with the 375 on North American game, and it works great, but yes, I think this rifle would really shine brightest in Africa.

Health issues make travel that far too risky for me anymore.
