I am starting to gather components for a 300 Norma build. I would like to try some of the heavier mono bullets such as the ceb lazers and the badlands bulldozers. I will have an 8 twist barrel. Does anyone know how big of a bullet I will be able to use. Is there a 205 or so with a >.7 bc from either of these manufacturers?

Not the same co as your asking but Barnes has a 212gr and hammer has a 214gr that you can shoot in a 1:8

Cutting edge says that the 230gr will stabilize in a 1:8 as well but might have to single feed

Thanks I did not know about the Barnes I will give that one a try. Do you know how long the 214 hammer is?

Badlands Precision is releasing a 205 solid first quarter '21 that will have a g1 above .800, I want an 8 twist just for it. He's also releasing a 196 that's stable in 10tw that has a g1 around 0.700. I am very excited about Jason's new bullets!
