Sig cross barrel options

I ordered a sig cross a while back and ive been looking everywhere for barrel change options. I see Proof offers a prefit for Qs Fix are they the same other than barrel extension? Can an Ar barrel minus gas hole work? I really want a CF 24" bbl. They're so new there isn't much info out there and was hoping someone with real hands on experience could give some insight

As far as I know, there's nobody making barrels for the Cross yet. Also, they issued a recall on all Sig Cross rifles a few days ago.
