Looking for electronic hearing protection (in ear)

Looking at Walkers, 3M and SOund gear right now. Any thoughts? THe sound gear are in canal and supposed to eliminate wind noise because of that.

I have the Sound Gear. They are ok, but don't cut out the shot noise completely. They just reduce the decibels. I use Howard Leight muffs more often since they shut off the noise completely.

I think the hunting situation is most important to me. at the Range, I dont mind wearing the muffs with better protection

Sound gear hands down. I've struggled with this for a while and got sound gear they are fantastic.
Like stated above they work Greta for hunting and I never have an issue but if at the range with a break you still want some muffs after several shots.

I've tried a few and none are great. The best option is a suppressor. I know that's not what the op is looking for but it's true. Also, it's the oldest type of technology out there for the purpose lol.

I vote sound gear. Took me a while to take the plunge. I've damaged my hearing hunting with revolvers. I have the instant fit. I think if I did it again, I'd probably go with the custom fit. The instant fit can be difficult to remove if they slide in a bit and with cold fingers. As good as they are, they ARE NOT a suitable replacement for muffs or other forms of better hearing protection at the range. They are now a permanent part of my hunting gear.
