Colorado mule deer

Another great Colorado mule deer hunt. Has been a tough year due to drought, but 3 days in we got some good overnight snow fall. Deer were still scarce ( as compared to past years) but we found this guy heading to the fence up top. With no other options to get closer, we ranged him at 557 yds and took the shot. Shooting a M.O.A. 270 wsm with the 170g Berger e.o.l. dropped him in his tracks.

Just curious, where you hunting to get tags every year to shoot bucks like that. Don't worry I'm not gonna go to your secret spot. I already have my own
