Hello Everyone!

If you have not yet purchased your preference points, NOW IS THE TIME! You have until October 31st to get your points purchased. If you put in for a license this year, you did NOT automatically get your points. Go online to the WY Game and Fish website at https://wgfd.wyo.gov/apply-or-buy and click on the red "Apply or Buy" button on the top right. Log into your account and purchase your points. If you are hunting this year, you cannot purchase a point for the species that you are hunting. You can purchase points for all of the other species.

If you would like help purchasing your points, please contact me at 307-887-0000 or via email at [email protected] and I will help you. It is very important that you get your points purchased this year!

We are having a very good year! We'll have new pictures up on the website after the season is over and we get a chance to get back into the office. The two pictures on this email are two of our top trophies from 2020 so far.

I bought points yesterday for bighorn and antelope. After the purchase I went back in and looked at anything else I might want points for and the bighorn and antelope options were grayed out. So I think if you already got points then the system recognizes it and blocks the options.

I'm not clear how this works. So if the Nontypical hunt takes 2 points for the more expensive option, I assume since I bought one point now (2020) I need to get another (2021) and can't hunt until 2022 at the earliest? Am I interpreting this right? Because I have a ton of extra vacation in 2021 and really wish I'd planned ahead...

They don't like to broadcast that answer but they will tell you if you call and discuss it.
