If you have not seen this, you should

I honestly can't imagine...what do ppl do with their time and money if not hunt and shoot?! Under Biden my whole life would have to be completely different. I hope I don't have to live that life. I voted Trump, did the best I could to inform others, not sure what else one dude can do. Good luck to us all this election.
it's scary when we have to rely on luck instead of common sense. David

till you get pulled over for crossing the fog light line,(happened to me) or going 6 over, or for not signaling during a lane change or some other absolute nonsense.
I can totally understand your saying this and for the purposes of this thread I completely sympathize with you and certainly respect (and value) your opinion. However, I have to point out that A LOT of dope and D.U.I's have been discovered using those minor infractions ("absolute nonsense" 😇 ) you mentioned as the basis for a good, solid interdiction traffic-stop. Heck, I call those particular infractions "chump charges", but they are, in fact, very useful 'tools' in their PROPER application.

No one comes to your door.

you take your rifle to the range, no big deal it's a private range it's all good... or maybe it's your family land. No worries.

till you get pulled over for crossing the fog light line,(happened to me) or going 6 over, or for not signaling during a lane change or some other absolute nonsense. One thing leads to another and the highway patrol finds your unregistered rifle in the backseat. you're brought in the atf comes in and enjoy your prison cell. No front doors kicked in, no news crews, no press. Your life is ruined, and no one cares
All they would have to do is establish a national tracking system, ie: background checks. Wa-la: You get a notice in the mail to turn in your weapons or suffer the consequences. Employers will be held accountable, tax liens, denial of fed backed school loans, fines, arrest, felony record, etc. When they are "King", they make the rules.

I live 17 miles from Canada. Pre covid I went there a fair amount. Going through customs they ask. Do you have any guns or dangerous weapons? No but I have a 12 inch screwdriver I could stick through your chest. She did not like it but the point is. If somebody wants to kill somebody they will find a way. You cannot legislate insanity. In my mind someone has to be insane to murder. So what will happen is most law abiding citizens will give them up and not be able to defend themselves. Women in the big cities should be afraid. (Well we have the police) By the time the police get there it will be too late. The gangbangers and drive by shooters? Lol they do not follow the law now. Chicago is a great example. Almost impossible to own a handgun and murder capital usa. Or washington DC is. Not sure which is the worst. Wherever gun ownership is restricted has the most crime.

Yes, that was part of the point. They are simple small infractions by people that do not mean to come in and ruin your life I did not mean to imply they weren't infractions, in fact I wanted to make sure they are but are very small for my examples. That's the point. If it happens on Wednesday you go home with a verbal warning, if it happens on Thursday when the rifle you legally purchased is in the back seat you go away.

As I understand it in most of the big cities our enemy is actively trying to defund the police. So I am not certain there will be any police to call.

Oh, make no mistake.....I'm fairly alarmed here and would not be able to take part in enforcing MOST of what I just read as it pertains to Law Enforcement/Local Government

Hold adults accountable for giving minors access to firearms. Biden supports legislationholding adults criminally and civilly liable for directly or negligently giving a minor access to a firearm, regardless of whether the minor actually gains possession of the firearm.

So, my kids can't hunt/shoot with me? 🤔 I don't think so. I can't see reasonable Fish & Wildlife officers wanting anything to do with that one.

I am not in law enforcement. But it seems to me that a lot of local and state police officers ought to be reluctant to enforce such laws. After all, the same side that has demonized you, called you all sorts of foul names, and sought to defund you is the same side that is proposing this legislation.

I just simply can't get my head around that anyone would believe in this hea, That being said I have 3 daughters, Two of them have Masters and they think Biden is the savior, but I'm telling you the colleges are indoctrinating the kids, My third daughter is a Trump supporter
The first two semesters of most colleges are just to remove common sense imparted by ones family I saw it with my son lucky though after two years he decided to go to Texas A and M and got re-rednecked he is much better now

You're right......and if the unthinkable happens I'll have to seriously consider a career change (I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one). It's rough now as it is...

The bad part about your career change is that you let someone else in your position with no common sense then it's harder on you and everyone else we have to keep the few good ones to fight the bad ones. David
