Or maybe it's the people paying these prices that make them so bold. Been watching powder on Gunbroker to see what the scalpers are selling for. Just saw 3-1lb bottles of H1000 sell for $515 plus shipping!
cant believe what this guy is asking for an 8lber, plus $50 shipping, PLUS 3.5% PayPal/credit card fee.

The hoarders are out of control again. Ok rant now over lol.View attachment 220001View attachment 220002View attachment 220003View attachment 220006

good grief!!!! Thats insane. If things are allowed to continue in this direction we'll all be shooting factory ammo because handloading is too expensive (I shudder to think haha...haven't shot factory since I got into loading and have no desire to change that)

Look at some of those auctions. They started at low or at least reasonable prices. The fact that the bid got out of control has absolutely nothing to do with greed. Did you just assume the seller is greedy??? I am still confused by this thread.
You got a point here, can hardly call it greed in an auction sale...still very alarming though, that there are people with money floating around with this lack of discretion as to the value of things. It makes things tricky for ordinary folks when those for whom money is no object do things like this.

When did everyone on this site become a socialist?

I don't know about everyone, but anyone that's taken a dime from SS, farm stipends, or or host of other socialized programs, has taken part is socialized policies and yet, we rely on capitalism and always have.
I don't see how the ethics of pricing shooting components has to do with either, as though it's another political war that people seem to need.

SS is not socialism. It's our money that we paid in.

There's a TV ad for an auto auction in PA. The last few moments, a guy is sitting in a car and he says something to the effect "I got what I wanted and I SET THE PRICE, not the dealer". Greed is in no way any part of these ads.
