Hello all, I'm (once again) looking for some insight. I have a chance to pick up a brand new Weatherby Terramark for 1300 bucks plus tax . I know this rifle is no longer in production but I saw that Weatherby had them originally listed for 2800 MSRP. I currently have a couple of Weatherby rifles and I am beyond happy with their accuracy however they all have the new Triggertech trigger but I see this rifle has the LXX option. What are yalls opinions? Is it worth the money? Or should I have pass and look into another rifle? Thanks in advance!

I would have a hard time picking which one to buy, a deal that good is hard to pass up.

For an out of the box rifle those look solid at that price point. Even a budget build would run more than $1300.

MA, unless you're planning a hunt out west, the .257 would serve you better in NC. Our .257's are deadly on anything from big muleys on down. My son and I have three .257's and only go to the .300 and 30/378 Wbys for elk. Nice rifles.
