Another way to think of this extra velocity - perhaps the Absolute Hammers behave like a lighter bullet.

Maybe a 140gr Absolute hammer behaves more like a 120gr Nosler Ballistic tip, for example. Might be helpful to look for casefill numbers with a lighter bullet when trying to select a powder.

Just run the 143 Hammer Hunter. My 280 AI has a 9 twist and I'm getting 3260 fps with the 143.
I'm a velocity junkie and would live to run the AH, but my HH load is still pretty darn stout and will be devastating, so I really can't complain.

There is also a 140gr Absolute Hunter. Somehow the BC might be better than the 155gr?

One thing I found yesterday is after seating to depth back off the seating stem and screw the die down and roll crimp into a groove. Then the ES came way down.
