Just got my first 6.5 grendel in a ruger American predator
Have been shooting the hornady Black ammo in it with good results
I'm going to start loading for it soon, I've got a box of 123 gr eld match but want to try other projectiles as well
Main uses will be pig and deer (sika red and fallow)
I'm from new zealand so don't have as many powders to choose from
Thank you

I have also found the 8208 to be the best accuracy wise in my grendel, found higher velocity with h-4198 this is using the 99gr. hammer hunter I will be trying the new 109 absolute hammer next

Haven't used it on game, built it for my grandson as a starter rifle.

It shot in mid .2s @ 100 yds with 107 tmk & 8208.

Xbr8208 has workt well with 100 elds out of my CZ527 and 18"AR. The 123eld has not done as well but ARCOMP is showing a little promise.
The 100eld has droped 4 antelope in thier tracks between 400 and 465 yards

Thanks guys for the great response so far I can get 8208 over here in New Zealand so I will try that and maybe a couple of other powders just for kicks
Wish we could get cci 450 primers here but I have better luck finding hens teeth lol
Keep the suggestions coming even some favourite loads would be handy. I've been loading for a few years just new to this round
Thank you again

123gr SST, With Varmit, 8208 XBR, CFE 223, AR Comp. Are all under an inch right around max load.

Had my best velocity and accuracy with Lever-Evolution in the same exact rifle you're loading for. Running a Hornady SST. One thing I will say though. This round loses velocity and stopping power fast. I would not recommend shooting past 350-400 with 120/123 grain projectiles. Stopping power falls off dramatically at 500 and I witnessed it. Shot a small Coues buck and 497 and it just penciled. After a long tedious tracking job I had to shoot buck again to put down. Bullet had very limited expansion. Maybe a smaller projectile would have been a better a choice at longer ranges. I have a number of Grendels in the AR platform also and run the LeverEvolutin powder in them as well. Extremely easy to load for.

I tested 8208 with a bunch of bullets. For 100 gr expect to be between 28-29 and with the 120's 27-28 gr. I used cci 41's

CFE 223 is my favorite with 8208 running a fairly close second. 123 SST's, Federal 205 primers and just under the max (32gr) CFE 223 make for a super accurate load @ 2704 out of my Howa Mini. 40 rounds over the chrony and I got an ES of 12 fps, I have never seen numbers like that before this.
