You don't have to tell anyone your shipping powder either but the one time your caught would probably be enough if s!!!! Can happen it often does the world is built on the law of averages. David

People I know who ship collectible coins that call them everything but coins so do you suppose that as long as it's not hazardous that the PO really cares what it is? PP checks only the tracking number to see if an item is shipped and/or received and not much else.

Never was one to have to lie to do business they usually make their rules and regs for a reason don't like them do business some where else. David

Gotta love these threads that run pages and pages.
Most posters never read what was already said and repeat the same stuff that was.
Now about coins. You can buy coins on Ebay/PayPal, I have sold many. Anyone who knows about coins knows that USPS registered and insured is the ONLY way to ship them.
Does anyone disagree that there is nothing more to be said about trying to beat the Ebay/Paypal rules ?
My final suggestion is that the OP publish all the facts surrounding the transaction, including the name and addy of the seller. There just might be a member who lives next door.

You would waste $20 in registered mail fees on a $100 coin? I mentioned it because some people are so paranoid when asked at the PO [which BTW they aren't supposed to do] that they would make up something rather than say it was coins. When I was receiving and sending them my PO people looked out for me.

It may be hung up. I sent a stock back to bell and Carlson first week of august and it got to Kansas hub Saturday. Hope all works out.

The lion's share of voting by mail will be local. For me there's no reason it should take mail 3 weeks to go 10 miles.

I got a call from my HVAC contractor last summer asking why I had not paid the bill for my new system. Told them that I had not yet received a bill. While walking the dogs the next morning, I saw an envelope laying on the edge of field a 1/2 mile from my place beat all to heck. You guessed it. Total distance traveled - 7 miles. Not the first time either.

People always point to the exception to the rule. Doodoo happens; not a perfect system.

It would help immensely if everyone would leave feedback on their transactions, just sayin'.
Most people here are honest, do your part of researching before making deals and have some patience.
Our whole country is somewhat scattered with some sort of turmoil lately, so get out and enjoy some shooting, target or hunting.
This is a great site to share information on hunting and shooting. help it stay that way!
