My first 3 shots of the year - archery range

I have pins out to 50 that's where I usually limit myself although for kicks I do try 60 occasionally I put my 50 pin on top of the target which is about 8 inches high and usually drop it right in there

Left and Right rotator cuff surgeries so now my bows have stocks on them! And cranks!

That one is just sitting on the ground I could've moved in any direction I wanted but I definitely had to cover my a- -

Funny you should mention that we are at a sporting good place right now looking for a crossbow so my wife can hunt archery season this year

I am disabled so I guess it would not be a problem for me we were looking at the Reverse Draw Tenpoint crossbow about $750

I have a late start and decided to have my bowstring replaced. Went to the range yesterday during my lunch break.

Considering anything past 20 yards is a blur (I forgot to wear contact on my right eye), I thought the session went well. It took me longer to wax the string than the actual shots, very pleased with it.

My son did the same. Got his bow back on a Wednesday, dialed it in Thursday, took off on Friday, and warmed up on this prairie maggot before spotting and stalking his deer. It has been a pretty good August for him.

I kept watching it hoping it would come a little further west, but the rain skipped right by central and hit east more. I agree, let's just be thankful it dropped a level before it hit. Hopefully saved more from being hurt and loosing everything.
