Problem with calcs for 4dof and strelok

Just think of it this way.....if your accidents didn't happen things wouldn't cost so much...and a person could afford to buy better items...
Meaning...taking advantage of a warranty for damages caused by normal use..versus destroying things accidentally and expecting them to cover for accidents is ludicrous....might as well line up for socialized medicine....then go ride your skateboard and break your back and expect welfare to take care of you for rest of your life.....
Your post implied that one would not be able to get satisfaction on a warranty claim from Vortex. I provide an example of satisfaction on the unconditional warranty. Then you berate their policy, and anyone making use of their warranty are apparently left wing socialists. You do not care for Vortex. Noted.

Tires, Discount, Les Schwab, 100 miles a tank, returned used tires. Jeeeeze did this thread get derailed! So I guess tires cost all of us more because some like to take advantage of return policies?

What I have been implying....
There are legit claims...and not legit claims....
If there's a problem in mechanical features or breaking while being used appropriately then sure...cover it....
If you break it because you dropped it while opening the box......thats your fault...eat it....
Returning that accidental broken is what drives up cost....
I am not bashing vortex on this....theyll cover what they want to....
I hope the Ops problem does get resolved...

I use Streloc Pro and did a test with one of my rifles at 900Y ran it with 0 slope angle and got 19 moa and did it a again 45 degrees slope angle and got 12 moa could have entered that wrong?

Horizontal component of 900 yards/45 degree slope angle is 636.4 yards. To answer your question: plug 636 yards into the solver at zero angle and it should give you the same dial-up (12MOA, in your case)

No, you tried to turn this thread into a vortex bash, then you saw a squirrel and les schwab was on your mind.
Did you have a bigfoot encounter last night?

It wasn't a question, I was just pointing out how much moa changes with angle but I see you need pick it apart and change it into something it wasn't.

What is going on around here? I interpreted it as a question and tried to offer a helpful explanation--there are many folks who are newer to ballistic solvers and haven't run through the math on their own and are learning.

Not sure why the hostility--did I somehow offend on a prior post?

Ok no problem I took it the wrong way.

Cabin fever is a confirmed side effect. 🤪

We should start up a new forum. Call it something like Chum. Toss incomplete information into the water and watch what happens. All sorts of fish will come out. Suggested Avatar sare:
