Finally got my rifle back from the smith. It was a 7mm RUM that I had rebarreled to a 6.5 PRC. It has a 27in Bartlein barrel in Sedero contour, a HS Precision bottom metal with a PRC mag. Going to break in with factory ammo, then find a load with the 156 Bergers.

6.5 SS with bartlien and 7 SS With Proof carbon fiber. LPA Fuzion ti and Fuzion. MCS stocks. ZCO 420 and 527. They are shooters.

****, all you guys make a Poor guy like myself feel kinda like inadequate! One is a 1970s rem 700 in 270 win with a manlicker style stock. Many mule Deer and Elk. The other is A HMR-PRO in 300 WM so far no dear or elk. But many with a trade in that was a Winchester 70 also in 300 WM. Many Elk and just a few Mule Deer. From 75 yds out to around 800 +/- at around 9800 ft and 28* sky's Blue and No wind! Beautiful Day in. The Colo Mtn hunting with Friends!
