Is Tangent Theta worth the $ over NF?

My favorite color is blue, convince me I'm wrong...

I own 2 thunderbeast cans and a TT... I am everything you hate haha. I'm going to keep this NF scope I have just to remind me how awesome my TT is.

If you don't want the NF just send it my way please. Us poors can't afford nuffin' nice.;)

Ok, I'm backing out. I ruined this poor guys thread enough. I hope the OP finds what he's looking for. I'm sure he'll be happy either way. Good luck!

Bottom line is, TT is making and selling scopes all day long every day. Obviously enough folks think they are worth the extra money. It doesn't make a hill of beans that a lot of people don't. If you have the money and want one, then buy one. If you don't see any benefit, then sell it. There are people buying them constantly on here and other sites. Forget about everyone on here. They're WORTH whatever you're willing to pay for one. I can tell you one thing for sure. Worst case, you'll wind up with one hell of a scope that is better than most anything else out there.
As a comparison how do TT compare to March? I think both are manufactured in Japan.

Of the examples I've used of both, the March is a very good scope, it is not in the same class as the TT. Glass is very good on the March. Turrets were pretty good. The eye box was a little distracting to me and the parallax was very finicky. There was zero of that with the Tangent Theta. It is near perfection. The TT is made in Canada. Personally, I probably like the ATACR better than the March.

I too am backing out of this thread. The following paragraph convinced me that is nothing else to be said. This has totally gotten ridiculous. I'm at a total loss off words after reading this.
"Look, I'm sure TT are great scopes, but I seriously doubt that, all things considered, such as reliability/durability, reticle choice, glass quality, illumination and likely company longevity, they are anywhere as good as a NF, either as a tool or as an investment."

Been about 3 years since I posted here until today. Nice to see nothing has changed. The most ignorant and inexperienced are the loudest voices, just like every other forum.

keep posting on AS please. Really enjoy those .22 threads.

Ill look at YouTube. Kind of maxed / burned out on joining more forums.
I know the feeling. I post on gunhive and snipershide, and infrequently at that. There's no point. Everyone I know that actually knows anything is tired of forums. Some still post, but this thread is a perfect example of why those posts are becoming less and less frequent.

Yeah, it's terrible. I don't know why we don't just shut up and buy the scopes you say are best, which happen to be the ones you are selling.

You pulled the same nonsense on AS, claiming the .22 LR rifle you happen to be selling is the greatest .22 ever made, and highly accurate. But then it turns out the genius who designed the RimX did not allow for direct feed. Excuse me but anyone seriously into .22 accuracy knows that when you strip a round out of a magazine it deforms the bullet in the round beneath very slightly, and we all know what deformations on the side of a bullet do to accuracy. It is why no serious rimfire bench match shooter uses a magazine in one.

So excuse me if I don't bow down to your "vast experience and knowledge." You do have them, but you are not using them to help people, only to sell them what you got a dealership on.

See you in 3 years.

Yeah. YEAH! You tell me! Boy it sure is a good thing we've got such experienced and knowledgeable people like yourself to tell everyone what you think!!!!

After all... like you say... its obvious this magazine fed rifle of mine can't shoot. Just look at this terrible 50yd performance, fired un-edited, in real time. A shameful performance indeed.
