.300rum .338rum brass

I've been extremely happy with adg/gunwerks brass. I use it in my 338 rum. 300 bergers @ 2830fps 1/4" moa and zero psi signs 92.2 N570. Bertram is garbage in my opinion and will never buy it again. I've had to return 6.5 saum, 300 norma and 300wsm. My friends 28N brass was so bad you could clearly see how inconsistent neck thickness was with naked eye.

I have two 300 RUMs. One is getting ready to become a 30 Nosler. Had Bartlein announced its carbon-wrapped barrel before I bought my # 3 30 cal barrel, brass, and stock, I think I would be having a 9.3 twist 338 RUM in the works. Those 260 gr Hammers sure look like they would be great elk bullets.

I too think Bertram is over rated. The primer pockets are too deep and the cases have inconsistent neck thickness and case capacity. The BB cases are too expensive to mess with their inconsistencies.

Remington is decent if you can get the pockets to hold primers for more than four loadings with full pressure loads.

ADG is good brass across the board, but I get the same accuracy with an additional 50 fps with Norma. For the 338 RUM, the Nosler cases have been excellent.

I use Norma 300 RUM brass for the 338/300 EDGE, new 358/300 RUM, 375/300 RUM & 416/300 RUM. Great brass, easy to expand using powdered graphite or transmission fluid for the lube.

I must have sold all the 338 stuff. Here is what I have left in 300 rum

RP 47pcs of new
RP 23pcs 1X fired
Norma 41 pcs 1X fired
nosler 8 pcs of 1X fired

72 pcs 1X fired
47 new RP
$115 Shipped
Not wanting to split it up.

I'm only telling you from experience!
5 300 ultras and 4 338 Ultras in the family !
Looking at a new 338 Rum in the future!

I feel humbled. I have one 338RUM in a Rem 700LSS and had a heck of a time finding it. 'Cause I picked up 360 rounds of custom manufactured ammo out of a auction and didn't have a thing to shoot it in. Finally found the LSS and still haven't shot it. LOL But I did enjoy the hunt.. :)

You better get both !
Just got back from the 1 mile shoot !
Several hit on a 12" steel target with the Lrh parts build 300 Rum . Danced all around the milk jug but couldnt hit the darn thing !
Then pulled out the 338 Edge and shot twice with misses then Splash goes the Jug !
Great day with all the guys !
